My Dear Mummie,
This partrege[sic] was caught on the drome this morning so it will be quite fresh I thought it would also do for a supper I know there is not a lot of meat on them but it is quite fat. I wish I had a gun here as there is quite a lot of game around here.
I have no time to write more.
