ROYAL AIR FORCE VOLUNTEER RESERVE
Notice to Recruit to Rejoin for Service.
With reference to your recent enlistment into the Royal Air Force, when you were relegated temporarily to the reserve until recalled, you are hereby warned that you will be required to join for service on 22 NOV 1943
You are, therefore, to present yourself at Lord’s Cricket Ground, St. John’s Wood, London N.W.8. at 10.0 a.m. or as early as practicable thereafter on that date.
When you report you should bring the following:-
(1) This paper.
(2) Your National Registration Identity Card and all civilian Ration Books.
(3) Your Unemployment Book and Health and Pensions Insurance Card and envelope NS.124 issued to you on enlistment.
(4) Your Civilian Respirator (anti-gas).
(5) The R.A.F.V.R. badge if issued to you on enlistment.
(6) If married, your marriage certificate and birth certificates in respect of children.
A railway warrant for the journey is attached.
You will be taken on strength with effect from the date you report for duty, and will also be issued with uniform, etc., as soon as possible thereafter. You should, therefore, bring with you the minimum of personal requirements, and a sufficient suitcase for their return, or paper and string.
