Dear Mrs. Ellis,

As the officer supervising the collection and disposal of your husband’s effects, may I be permitted to express my sincere sympathy.

In accordance with Air Ministry instructions, his personal effects assembled at this Station will shortly be despatched to the Standing Committee of Adjustment, Central Depository, R. A. F., Colnbrook, Slouth [sic] Bucks., and that Unit will communicate with you at an early date.

The effects cannot, however, be released until the requirements of the Regimental Debts Act have been complied with, and it is, therefore, requested that you will address all future correspondence to Colnbrook.

Yours sincerely,
