write this in reference to my son “Monty” – Yes. I had the news of his being missing on Sunday evening Jan 2nd and strangely enough the previous night I had a dream. A little green Book appeared in front of me and on the cover in white letters were. GOD. IS. LOVE. and on the top corner Monty in Black Letters – As you must realise it was a terrific shock to me and the daughters – but they are as optimistic as you appear to be. For myself [indecipherable words]
[page break]
he had by him but he did ask me if I could get him a cheap car for purposes around the Drome. I am afraid I cannot get to Lincoln on [indecipherable word] of [indecipherable word] [indecipherable word] , So I should be extremely grateful to you if could clear things at the Drome using this letter as your authority. Perhaps you will be good enough to let me know if this is in order. His number is 1436156.
In the meantime I trust some good news will be forthcoming
