Dear Joan and all
just a few lines in answer to your letter this morning telling me about Bob I am so Pleased he is safe and he will be back home to you soon. I do hope he is not badly burned and if he is still in France he may soon be home if he is fit to leave Hospital well I know it will have been such a relief to your Mother – Dad and even all who new him I went round to tell Mrs Richardson and Margaret was going to tell Jack do you think your Mother would come here a few days now you have got good news she must send me word if she will so no more just now
