My Dear Joan
We have just “run out” of Orders, Invoices etc, so have “grabbed” the opportunity to drop you a few lines. Have had relations staying with us over the week-end, or I would have written yesterday as soon as I heard your grand news.
Kitty told us & also ten minutes later Bob rang up to tell me / so you will see how quickly good news can travel.
I was certainly happy Joan & could have jumped over the tallest chimney here at Frod. with delight for you.
[page break]
It has been grand to know what hope you always had & to know also that our hopes & prayers must have been answered.
Trusting Bob will soon recover & return to you quickly.
Cheerio Joan,
Sincerely
