My dear Joan,
Here is letter which No [sic] “Bar Header Champ” has asked me to pass on. Knowing hit [sic] he was away for a few days I got his address an sent him no [sic] news about Bob.
Everyone here is delighted at the latest news w [sic] all are confident Not [sic] you will soon here

even better.
I got Nill safely to Mrs Craridges [sic] and apart from a little ‘tummy upset” today she is not too bad.
We are both extremely grateful for your many kind actions during her stay in hospital
Mr & Mrs C. intended to ask you over for Sunday but we could not get in touch with you in time – my car is again misbehaving. I hope to see you ing [sic] in /2 week.
Lots of love from Nill & myself Yours very sincerely Wilf.
