My Dear Dad, Many thanks for yours of 5T [sic] MAY just received. Am keeping fit thanks. No Carpentering here but get in quite enough exercise. Am getting a growing desire to go farming at home after the war but shall have to see what conditions are like. Attend farming lectures here but nearly all European stuff. Will you please write & tell me what you think. Am very keen. Lot of rain & thunder & wind here lately. Hope you are all well & good tobacco prices. Your loving son Donald.
