‘INCENDIARY HAIL’ SWAMP THE TARGET

HIGH above Duisburg Germany’s greatest inland port until Saturday last, an incendiary shower is dropped from the bomb-bay of a Lancaster. This is one aircraft’s quota. Twice in 2 hours British planes were over the city “like clouds of gnats.”
