Dear Mum, Dad, Yvonne & Moira,
Well, at last winter seems to be fading out, & for the first time for 5 months we can see patches of ground under the snow. The camp is looking like a quagmire. We had one of the worst blizzards for 10 years last week. It lasted for 3 days, non-stop. It was a good job it stopped when it did as we were out of milk & bread & very low in everything else. The snow drifts were terrific. In the main street they took five days to find one chaps car under the snow. They didn’t know it was there!!
We get our “wings” ground exams next week, so we are really binding now. Life will be grand after this.
Some of us will be kept out here on an advanced course, which we gather is very deadly, but those who go on it, really are experts at the end.
Still it will all work out, Mum.
I’m afraid there isn’t anything else. I could talk a lot about the weather, it’s been amazing, but it wouldn’t pass the censor. Hoping everyone is fit & happy, Any sign of a pub yet? Much Love
Terry
