Dear Mum, Dad, Moira & Yvonne,
Received you’re a.gs of 1st & 7th April Glad Don has arrived safe & sound. Good Show, about Douglas Bromwich. I will try & get the stuff you asked about.
Our Wings Parade has been put forward a week so we are having them on Friday. We then move off, with or without leave to our next station. I am pretty sure to be going on the reconnaissance course for nine weeks. I have been given a commission, & everyone thinks I ought to accept it, so I have. I don’t know how it will work out financially, but I hope it’ll be O.K. I’m afraid John Stockbridge didn’t get one, so I’m lucky really. Following in Denis’ footsteps. I hope you hear soon that Charlie is O.K.
At the moment we are just finishing off the last hours on advanced training & should be finished by Wednesday. All the news for now. Will cable when I definately [sic] know where I’m going. Love
Terry.
PS Id like to see Dad & Fish horse riding
