Dear Mum Pat & Vincent
Even though it is nearly a month since I last wrote to you there does not seem to be much news to tell you. I am in the very best of health and there is no need for you to worry over me. I hope you are all in the best of Health. Well St Patrick’s Day has now gone; the Irishmen in the Camp had a bit of a Sing-Song and I joined in with them. Owing to circumstances I was not able to attend Mass on St Pat’s morning. The other day I met an Airforce chap who came from Essendon, he knew Pat & Hughie Lighe, I was only speaking to him a few moments so did not find out his name, if I should meet him again I will find out his name & perhaps Pat or Hughie might know him. My two English Pals received a letter each yesterday, so I can expect mail from Auntie Louie any time now. I think I told you in my last Post Card about my intention on lecturing on “England from a Visitors Point of view”, I must have done alright as I got an ovation from the Listeners instead of being thrown out as expected. Give my love to the Cahir’s at Camberwell, kind regards to everybody else; once more don’t worry over me. Jim
