I’ve just rung up your mother to give her your address & mentioned the cigarette shortage, so perhaps there will be some assistance from that quarter. There was no letter from you today so far, but I’m still hoping for something by the afternoon post.
Nothing very much to report since yesterday. Frances is as good as ever & I was very sick in the night otherwise nothing exciting.
I’m going out now to do something about the bathroom black-out. Your mother says Leslie is expecting leave on 23 August, [deleted] so perhaps you [/deleted] he’ll be on another special course just now. Peter may be coming down this weekend. Will write this evening
