My darling one, I'm afraid this will be a hurried epistle as I'm writing it in the P.O. & her majesty is waiting outside in her pram. The weather has broken with a vengeance now & the skies weep for your departure. However Frances & I are keeping cheerful, she as good as ever & taking her feeds well again. Barbara arrived this morning, but has gone off on night duty so I'm alone again tonight. It was so lovely to hear your voice again last night. Thank you so much for ringing up, you darling.
Bridget is coming in next Tuesday & Thursday pm, but unfortunately can't come any more after that. Still it all helps. There has been no answers to the advert yet.
All my love to you dearest, I'm longing for your first letter, Ursula.
