Reference your letter 18th Feb. 1944 P. 407611/1/P.4 (B.6.)
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter advising that it is now proposed to take action to presume the death of my son Pilot-Officer H. R. Madgett.
With regard to the second paragraph of your letter, I deeply regret to advise that we received no further evidence or news regarding him.
