I am writing to you on behalf of F/Lt. D.J. Shannon, DSO., DFC. He has stated that he desires to carry on operating, and also that he does not wish to return to Australia at the present. His wife is serving in the Royal Air Force in this country, in fact in the same Group.

I would be grateful if you would ensure that this request is granted.
