My dear Cheshire,

I must apologies for not having replied earlier to your kind letter of the 23rd ultimo. The delay in fixing up the visit of your people is entirely due to the silly business of having to go through the M.A.P. instead of direct. However, Martin came along, together with several more of your boys and collected the model and I think everything passed off successfully.
