Further to this Department’s letter dated 19th October, 1943, I am to state that from 24th February, 1944 your allowance will be at the rate of 40s. 9d weekly under the new provisions and the following rates are applicable in respect of a widow of an airman of the rank of Sergeant with one child.

A complete new order book for the above amount has been lodged at the Post Office Rutherglen, Glasgow, the enclosed form 1510 will enable you to obtain your new book.
The Postal Draft value £4. 1s. 5d also enclosed represents payment for arrears at 9s. 6d weekly with effect from 26th December, to 23rd February, 1944.
