Thank you for your letter of July 9th; also, for the information contained in the A.O.C's letter which I am returning.
I realize the position regarding permanent commissions must still be very uncertain, and that my chances have been jepodized [sic] by long stay in hospital.
I would be very much obliged if you would let me know of any new developments.
