Statement of Marina Cappellini about some Allied servicemen
Title
Statement of Marina Cappellini about some Allied servicemen
Description
Marina Cappellini claims she helped nine English prisoners of war. She hosted six of them in a barn for two months, where she brought them food; then they were recaptured. The other three prisoners lived in her house until 5 February 1944, when fascist militiamen arrived near her house. She was able to run away and gave warning to the men. Fascist militiamen, who took away 2500 lire, captured her and one of the prisoners.
