Aerial vertical photograph of town with canals and marshalling yard. A river/canal runs from mid left slanting down initially and then right across to the right hand side. In the middle another canal splits off upwards then goes right to middle right side. The centre of the town is in the bottom left quarter below the lower canal. Above the river/canal a railway with large marshalling yard runs left to right. There are a large number of goods wagons in the top left and bottom right part of the marshalling yard. Bomb explosions can be seen in the top centre and bottom right of the marshalling yard. Captioned 'Abbeville'.
