Aerial inclined photograph showing a town with almost all buildings damaged or completely destroyed. In the foreground parkland with trees and a few scattered damaged buildings. There are a number of bomb craters visible. In the centre the main part of the town with just a few damaged buildings standing but most reduced to rubble. In the middle on the right side a tower and towards the top left in the background factory chimneys. Beyond the town is open countryside with some woods. Captioned 'Germany Wesel'.
