Caption translates as: “2 – The “Vivaldi” is 5,800 meters away from the steamers, 5,000 meters from the escort destroyers; the “Malocello” is at the same distance. They fire torpedoes from the aft launcher and make smoke. One of the steamers is hit, another steamer is burning. At 4.12 pm a great explosion takes place on another British destroyer”
