Major Werner Husemann’s Gruppe. A Geschwader consisted of 100-160 aircraft, divided in 3-4 Gruppen (indicated in Roman numerals) each of approximately 30-40 aircraft. In turn each Gruppe was made up of 3 Staffelm (indicated in Arabic numbers), these having 12-16 aircraft.
