Dearest,
I was very glad to get your letter yesterday. I thought you’d been holding out on me, not saying how you were, but you say you are all right now; fortunately I shall be able to check up on it on Thursday when I see you.
The exam is at 9.0 a.m. a week on Tuesday, Dec. 7th. Unfortunately it means two days out of my leave, unless you’d like to go with me. Still, we’ll talk it over when I see you, & I’ll also talk about the posting.
It will be wizard if you can find a house, won’t it, but I agree with you about the bungalow.
Sorry this note is short, but it’s just lunch time, & we’ve got the funeral at one o’clock. Cheerful business, isn’t it?
Till Thursday,
All my love,
Harold.
