My dear Mummy and Daddy.
I hope you are quite well and happy. I am quite well and happy and so is Stevie. Thank you for those envlopes [sic] you sent us. I got 72 for the English test. My friend Dawson still sits with me at letter writing class. I bought from Miss Robinson 2 blue ink tablets and a rilief [sic] nib for both thinks [sic] it cost one anna. I will try and work hard and get lots of marks for my tests the last few tests I I [sic] got 78 77 62 and marks like that I will try and keep it up. I hope Pompom and Dorje are quite well ask uncle scrob [sic] how Pluto is I hope he is quite well too. We are [deleted] go [/deleted] going to a party today all havelock house in upper prep when Miss Humphries was here we came first in class so she is taking us for a party today in her room. Stevie is writing a letter today as well. I am ending my letter now. With lots of and kisses [underlined] from [/underlined] David.
