My darling Mummy and Daddy.
Thank you for your letters. We played the finals and lost 4-0. That team were a dirty fouling team. Poor Booth are [sic] goalkeeper was biffed in the stomach with ball in his hands and fell down, he had to be picked up and his stomach rubed [sic] until he got up. Towards the end of the match when their [sic] was about 10 minuets [sic] left and Mr Edwards knew the match was [deleted] there [/deleted] theirs he started knocking their chaps about. About five of them charged him and he knocked all of them on the ground they were all dead scared of him. It was very bad luck for us. The team went to the pictures yesterday.
