462 (RAAF) Squadron; [concept]

Description

462 (RAAF) Squadron was formed in Egypt in September 1942 but in March 1944 it was renumbered as 614 Squadron RAF. It then reformed as part of 4 Group Bomber Command in August 1944, transferring to 100 Group in December. It flew Radio Counter Meausre operations until disbanded in September 1945.
It was stationed at: RAF Driffield and RAF Foulsham.
Aircraft flown included: Halifax.
Wartime losses: 48
