My dear Mummy and Daddy.

I hope you are quite well and happy. I am quite well and happy and so is [deleted] s [/deleted] Stevie. Thank you [indecipherable word] for your parcel you sent us. I got 36 for my arithmertic [sic] exam and for my English I came first with 84 and Stevie second with 84 we both tried our best. We had a match against some men and their score was 90 for whole side out we declared w [inserted] h [/inserted] en six batters were out our score was 209 Suceass [sic] [deleted] madd [/deleted] made 77 a very good score isen’t [sic] it? Write and tell me if

can read my writing. We went to the pictures to see harold [sic] Loyd in Kidd brothers it made us laugh like anything if it goes to Dacca you must go and see it. We are celeceting [sic] our money [indecipherable word] I meen [sic] our gang we have got 2 [deleted] ry [/deleted] rupees and a few anna’s. I have still got my watch only the strap is broken so Sookiass is keeping it for me. We went out with Uncle hike [sic] and had a reery [sic] nice time it was very kind of him to take us out wasn’t it? Are you coming up in May.?. The boys in my gang are (1) Stevie (2) Terrel (3) + (4) Blaker I and II and myself are in a gang. One of our

is getting a parcel this week and he gets 1 [deleted] ry [/deleted] rupee every sunday [sic] in a letter he is a very nice boy his name is terrel he is one of the boys who traveled [sic] down with us last year. I am ending my letter now With [sic] With lots of love and
