P M Edge’s Royal Air Force Aircrew Flying Log Book. Five

P M Edge’s Flying Log Book 5 from 9th August 1966 until September 1977. Posted to Transport Command Examining Staff as navigator and route checker. Continued to serve with Air Support Command Examining Unit. February 1968 saw posting to 242 Operational Conversion Unit and then to 47 Squadron. Further postings to Operations Wing and 70 Squadron followed. In 1976 posted to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight as navigator for the Lancaster PA474.

Served at RAF Colerne, RAF Fairford, RAF Akrotiri, RAF Lyneham, RAF Coningsby, RAF Benson, RAF Thorney Island.

Aircraft flown were Hastings, Andover, Argosy, Pembroke, Hercules, Lancaster.
