In Bob's memoirs he explains 'On a Sunday hike with the Twentieth Century Fox club. Alice Grosco (Organiser) at left in front row. I'm at right front row'.
Also 'On the above hike a course of RAAF W/O/P who had just got their wings (30 Aus Course) were at No 3 Manning Depot "In transit" joined the party, along with a navy officer'.
