Patrick Geary’s Pilot’s Flying Log Book from 21st April 1943 until 15th May 1958. Initial training as a pilot at No. 6 Elementary Flying Training School, No. 10 Service Flying training School. Posted to 20 Advanced Flying Unit in March 1944. October 1944 saw posting to 105 Operational Training Unit then 313 Ferry Training Unit, 45 Group.
Attended No. 1 Reserve Flying School for annual refresher training in 1947-49. In 1950/51 attended No. 17 Reserve Flying School and No. 11 Reserve Flying School in 1952/53. Posted to RAF Transport Command Communications Flight in May 1954.

Served at RCAF Prince Albert, RCAF Dauphin, RAF Sywell, RAF Kidlington, RAF Leconfield, RAF Nuneaton, RCAF North Bay, RCAF Dorval, RAF Panshanger, RAF Hornchurch, RAF Perth, RAF Upavon.

Aircraft flown were DH 82 Tiger Moth, Cessna Crane, Anson, Oxford, Wellington X, Hudson, C-47 Dakota, B-24 Liberator, Chipmunk, Fairchild C119, Hastings, Devon, Valetta, B-25 Mitchell.
