This leaflet outlines the joint statement prepared by Roosevelt and Churchill, setting out their goals for after the end of the war.
It holds Hitler and his supporters responsible for the continuation of the war and sets out the common policy principles to make the world a better place.
These included neither country seeking territorial expansion; only making territorial changes in agreement with the wishes of the people concerned; the right of self-determination; working towards all states having equal access to trade; greater global economic collaboration and social welfare; peace to live safely within own borders, free from fear and need; freedom of the seas; refraining from the use of force and disarmament of aggressive nations.
