Dear Jean,
Thanks so much for letter received a few days ago, so you have decided to be polite for a change, its a good idea, a couple of months is a long time to wait to see the effort of your remarks. Well the 7 weeks speed along, one of my letters gives certain opinions about the camp and so forth, that if it passes the censors, its number [deleted number] 21. see what happens. boy, was I cheesed off when I wrote that. Since then there are rumours of leave, so am taking a little better view of the proceedings, will give you all the gen in my next letter. We did some more traveling last weekend the weather was marvellous, but tonight (Monday) its raining again. Well, must close now, any more news of joining up? Cheerio, take care of yourself, hope the holiday was successful.
Yours
Jack
