train was an hour late and did’nt arrive in York until 4.30 am. I soon got the old bicycle out and was back and in bed by 5.15. of course the hut was cold and it was’nt very nice sleeping alone.

I'm writing this on the firm's paper in there time, thus nothing much doing, the dart board is at present working overtime and we only want a couple of crates of beer and some sawdust on the floor to make it a real pub.

Am not certain what will happen next weekend, shall probably have some more gen later on, shall have to see what can be done.

Well darling, not a lot more to write about, someone has just rung up from another station, they've lost one body presumably

still alive and I'm just going to see what's happened to him.

Take care of yourself darling,

all my love,

Jack
