THE FIRST ATTACK WAS MADE BY R.A.F. BOMBER COMMAND RECENTLY ON MARSHALLING YARDS IN THE CITY OF PARIS. A RHODESIAN BOMBER SQUADRON, THE SAME WHICH CARRIED OUT THE FAMOUS RAID ON AUGSBURG WHEN SQUADRON LEADER NETTLETON RECEIVED THE V.C., PLAYED AN IMPORTANT PART IN THE ATTACK.
