Kay Darling,
Thanks a lot for your nice letter received today. Yes pip [?]. Incidently [sic] the keys to the car are underneath the drivers seat, I always keep them there & don't bother to lock up the car.
I find I have one of your collers, [sic] I put one on the other day & it nearly choked me, naturally I just thought it was one of mine that had shrunk, but on checking up I found it was a size 14 so presumed it was yours, have sent it to be washed & will return same.
Have got myself a crew Arthur Whiteley is the Pilot they have 7 more trips so that should finish my tour.
[page break]
2.
Actually I should write you tomorrow, but thought an extra letter would do no harm!
Funny about the kitten, doesn't Scrim object to the catty smell? Incidently [sic] they carry germs, so watch points in case there's a young 'Albert'
Ronnie has gone back to Woodhall, heard he went yesterday.
Good bye Darling
God bless you
Yours always
Jim
