As before.
June 7-43.
My Own Darling Kay,
Thanks a lot for your nice letter.
Before I go any further, there is no need to mention the Squadro [sic] No in my address.
You went to B'ham after all? What did you buy if any?
Yes, I received the telegram from Archie, I wondered how he remembered what date my birthday.
What on earth made you book into the Midland Hotel?
I certainly think the kidney shaped table sounds good.
Still keeping on top & getting quite a share of 'Oh be joyful'. Will you pop into G & Spaldings & order a few [deleted] enge [/deleted] enlargements, you remember the ones I liked. I should like to send one to your people & one to mine.
[page break]
2.
Have written to Mother & Dad & now I have to drop Bert a note of receipt.
Be good sweetheart hope to see you soon.
All my love
Yours always
Jim.
PS. Have named our Kite. 'NULLI SECONDUS' & same has been duly painted on, & instead of painting bombs on the side we are having empty tankards.
