Well, hows your bullshit course going down? bloody hard no doubt, I have often thought of you when I have been laying on my pit on a cold afternoon, you know you were nothing more than a damned fool sticking your neck out, personally I realise I have a nice comfortable job and I intend hanging on to it as long as I possibly

can, although at the moment I am not in such a happy frame of mind as I was a couple of months ago, there appears to be some talk of closing this station down, if they do I shall lose my job and probably be packed off to Bomber Command, so I am trying to forestall that and wangle a posting to Transport Command and I sincerely hope I am successful.
Regards leave, I am having my usual fourteen days commencing Nov. 25th so if you can manage a 48 hrs. or even a day off during the first week let me know and I will in all probability come and pay you a visit, sorry make that the

second week of my leave, I want to see a [underlined] friend [/underlined] in London sometime during the first, incidentally I presume you can get into Nottingham because I dont want to hang around in a hick town with only a couple of Pubs.
