When our troops entered the camp April 15th 1945, there were 50,00 internees who were suffering from malnutrition, typhus, typhoid, tuberculosis, dysentry. Lying around the area, or inside the huts or in open graves were at least 10,00 bodies, many were in advanced stages of decomposition.
There were no latrines or sanitary facilities for the camp internees, among this mess the few internees who were able to walk shuffled aimlessly around, men and women squatted like dogs to add their daily contribution to this stinking morass.
Hitlers Final Solution.
