MONKS. – Maurice Arnold, F/O R.A.F., aged 22 years, previously reported missing in June, now reported killed, dearly loved youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Monks 27 Dixon-street, Lincoln, and dear brother of Alice, Reg., Margaret, Edith, Herbert (R.A.F., India), and Edna (A.T.S.).
“There is some far corner of a foreign land,
That is forever England!”
Mr. and Mrs. A. Monks and family wish to thank all friends, including C.D. Wardens (Carholme Division), Officers and Cadets (204 Squadron A.T.C.), for expressions of sympathy extended to them in the great loss of their son, Maurice.
