This letter is returned to you in accordance with the instructions issued by the Postal Authorities, in the interest of the prisoners and internees themselves, that letters addressed ot prisoners of war and civilians interned abroad
(a) should be clearly written or typed, and
(b) should not exceed two sides of a normal sized sheet of notepaper.
Relatives and friends are advised to limit their letters to one or two a week.
If these instructions are contravened, letters for prisoners of war and internees are liable to delay and may not even be delivered by the authorities in the country to which they are addressed.
