My Darling Mummy –
Last night I went to Milan in Italy, but unfortunately we had to put down at a drome in the South of England. I expect we shall be here a few days until our own aircraft is ready to go back to base.
Where we landed I can’t say, but they are looking after us well.
That’s all for now
Lots of love to all
Nick name [indecipherable] Philip
