Dear Sir,
We regret to inform you that it has been pointed out to us by the Air Ministry, that you were issued in error with the sum of £45 in respect of Outfit Allowance instead of £11 2s 11d the balance of £33 17s 11d having already been issued to you in Canada.
It is suggested that the sum of £33 17s 1d overpaid be recovered from your pay by monthly instalments of £4 commencing with the January issue, and we trust that this arrangement will meet with your approval.
Yours faithfully,
[signature]
pro Manager.
