[Underlined] B SHOP GROUP. [/underlined] 18/11/43
All rivets entering Quarantine Stores are inspected, placed in their respective bins, and issued to rivet stores as required.
[Underlined] Storage and Heat Treatment of Dural Rivets. [/underlined]
All dural rivets are heat treated in E Shop and stored in Drikold containers at temp: of from -15°C to -20°C, for 6 days.
Storage records were examined and found in order. Containers are topped up with Drikold Cones every 24 hours, and entirely cleaned out approx: every three weeks.
A temperature check is taken by W.I.D. every fortnight. Records of same were checked and found to be within the temperature range.
[Underlined] Issue Control. [/underlined]
The approved system of coloured containers is being satisfactorily employed.
[Underlined] Workmanship. [/underlined]
Owing to an influx of trainee labour, the standard of workmanship has dropped slightly, but is being overcome by strict supervision by inspection staff.
Process as viewed is considered satisfactory.
