My dear Joan.
I felt that I must just send you a line & offer my sincerest sympathy. I know that words seem very helpless on these occasions, but I assure you that the thought behind is very real.
I do hope & pray that you may soon hear some news of Bob & that you may be given strength for your waiting.
Give my love to your Mother I know how she must be feeling as she thought so much of Bob.
Mr Nuttall & Donald join me in sympathy & may God Bless you. With love
