[underlined] GROUND CREW [/underlined]
THE OTHER HALF OF OUR TEAM, WERE THE GROUND CREW. THEY WORKED OUTDOORS IN ALL KINDS OF WEATHER, MAKING ADJUSTMENTS, REPAIRING FLAK HOLES, AND GENERALY [sic] ATTENDING TO ALL OUR OPERATIONAL COMPLAINTS. FOR MAJOR CHECKS AND REPAIRS THE AIRCRAFT WENT INTO THE REPAIR HANGAR. SOMEONE WOULD ALWAYS BE AT THE DISPERSAL POINT WHEN WE RETURNED FROM OPERATIONS, AND [inserted] TO WELCOME US BACK, AND [/inserted] TO SEE IF REPAIRS TO THE A/C WERE NECESSARY. WE HAD VERY GOOD RELATIONS WITH OUR GROUND CREW. GREAT BUNCH!
REPAIRS WERE DONE PROMPTLY, SO THAT THE A/C WAS READY FOR THE NEXT OPERATION.
