Dear Mr Hudson
Very sorry indeed we were not able to visit you [underlined] all [/underlined] at ref but Mrs Dunbars visit to see was left dark just till the Saturday midday when it was to [sic] late for us to ask for permission even Mr Sprivy did not know she was going however we have pleasant remembrances of you all and look forward to seeing you all soon perhaps in [underlined] Algeria [/underlined] if not in England after the war is over, you were all just our family and we will miss you all especially shopping centres

Jenny was terribly upset when she knew [underlined] Family [/underlined] Dunbar was going to see you all, however Best of [underlined] Luck [/underlined] and all our Best Wishes Yours Sincerely [sic] Mr, Jenny, & Mrs Longshot
P.S. Best respects to [underlined] Randall [/underlined] & Mr [underlined] Pickles [/underlined] drop a line now and again to Mr Borg.
