Junkers JU 248.

Late in 1944 the Technische Amt of the RLM insisted that the ME 163D project be turned over to Junkers for further development and production. The aircraft was then re-dseignated [sic] the Junkers JU 248. This designation only lasted for a short time as RLM ordered that the designation ME 263 be used.
