Just got back after most hectic ride It is exactly 100 miles, covered in 2 hrs. 42 mins. all by night! Had a [indecipherable word] over last 60 Kms. which covered in 3/4 hrs! Nearly 40 miles Had very fresh sailing wind today & very rough sea. Got very wet, so did Diana. Concluded these hard [indecipherable word] boats are much too wet so sha’nt [sic] build my design after all! Have got a Nice-er doll for Winkle. Didn’t get in till nearly 2300, & now past midnight. Got t [sic] get up 0630, so bed
Love, Hubby
